Introducing the Garden Email Membership

A few years ago, I was pregnant with our youngest and I had a rough pregnancy.

Bending down made me lightheaded, dizzy, nauseous, and exhausted.

Gardening that season felt like an extreme sport, thankfully I had help.

One night, late in the season, I was alone for the evening. A rare, quiet occasion.

I went to the garden and felt thankful for the hands who made it happen.

I had taken my clipboard to the garden so I could make sure my notes matched what we ended up planting.

When I sat down in the shade I started jotting down notes in the margins.

What mattered in the Spring.

What I needed to document each season.

What I could have done in the Fall to make Spring easier.

And how to plan for the season in the Winter.

By the time I finished I had an entire year planned out of the things that could make the garden season easier.

That first draft didn’t feel like a chore list or a heavy burden.

It felt like a breath of fresh air.

That monthly theme is why I’m writing to you today.

I’m planning to launch an email membership with the monthly garden tasks that matter.

*** Here’s What I’m Thinking ***

·         Each Month you receive ONE email from me with one Garden Theme.

·         Tell you why I chose the theme and why it’s important

·         Then we get to the heart of it – the checklist and workbook. These are the tasks to do in the garden this month to set yourself up so your garden feels less like a chore and more like a hobby you enjoy.

·         The goal is to build YOUR Garden Brain in the form of a binder.

My garden planners all sit empty because they are too pretty to take outside where they might get dirty.

My garden folder is far more useful with seed starting pages, garden plots, dirt smudged pages, and pristine “here’s where everything is perfectly planned” pages I make in February (and are abandoned by June).

My garden “brain” is far more useful to me on paper, in one spot where I can compare what I grew each year and look at the notes for what I liked and didn’t like… it’s not perfect, but it’s really dang useful every.single.season.

I don’t know if this idea resonates with you, but if it does, I want you to be a part of this journey from the very beginning.

I invite you to become a founding member.

One of the big benefits of joining now is that you get in at the lowest price this is ever going to be, $17/month. And you’ll be locked in at this price for as long as you stay a member in good standing.

PLUS I want you to help me make this membership helpful and useful for others who come join us later. I want to build the place where the garden feels more like a hobby and less like a chore

If you want to be the first to know when doors open for this membership -> click here to join the wait list, not a commitment, just saying you want to hear more.

More… there’s one more piece that’s missing for this membership idea that I have.

Gardening looks good on paper, it feels good when it’s all growing well… but it’s…

Lonely.

That is one word to describe gardening.

It’s a solo “sport” where we each tend our own garden on our own.

I don’t want to garden alone. I want a community of fellow gardeners to share the highest of highs and the lowest of lows… because while I love my friends and family… they don’t bring the dramatic flair when I said “I grew this myself!” or “WHAT the heck is THAT!?!”

This Founding Member Launch includes a community I’m trialing.

I want to have a space for gardeners to connect with each other… people who GET IT.

Along with the monthly email I’ll have a weekly question in the group for you to cheer each other on and chat garden. Think of it like a casual neighborhood book club, show up as you are whether you read the book or not.

In the group I’ll be more like the hostess, popping in here and there to see how you’re doing, but largely just bringing the weekly conversation starter.

I’d like to add in a Q&A post once or twice a month where I’ll post place to ask your Questions and I’ll answer them over the next several days.

So what do you think?

Are you ready to have an email arrive to your inbox with garden tasks and a few pages to journal about your garden?

Are you ready to just show up, do the work, and start building YOUR garden “brain”?

It’s time to stop letting the garden tasks “buzz” around your head, so join the wait list and help me grow something wonderful.  Join the waitlist here.

Thank you for being part of my community.
